mine was around 51 or higher, I forget. My surgeon's practice requires 40 or higher if no comorbidities, 35 or higher with comorbidities to even be considered.

I had a BMI of 44.6. I had no co-morbidities. My insurance required a min of 40.

I am 5'11" and started at 320 lbs.
