Upper Left Hurting a LOT!!!

16 days out and the upper left part of my torso -- just below the left breast is hurting a lot.  More than the ache I have mentioned in a few earlier posts.  And the pain comes in waves -- like spasms -- here one second gone in the next.  Anyone think this is a problem?  Thanks, Hattie

This is not uncommon and how it presents varies from one person to another. I've heard it described as a aching pain, a discomfort, a soreness, a stabbing pain, etc... really varies. It generally comes from the trocar that is inserted in that area. That said, I'd suggest that you call your Dr's office and describe the discomfort/pain you are experiencing and ask them about it. 

The good news is that it eases with time and eventually is just a memory.
