Counting Down till Surgery

Well this has been quite a journey, started back in September 2010 with my primary doctor.  I just had my pre-op group class last night with the nurse and nutritionist.  I start my pre-op liquid diet on January 24, 2012 and my pre-op with Dr. Friedman on January 26, 2012.   Surgery on January 30, 2012 at 12:30.  The closer it gets the more nervous I'm getting, I keep telling myself this is the right thing to do.  I have a great loving and supporting wife who has been with me the entire time.  Dr. Friedman and his staff have been OUTSTANDING!!  Best of luck to everyone going through this journey.

I hear ya about the nerves. Mine is in 2 days and boy is my stomach doing a number on me, my nerves are really working overtime!  Congrats and good luck!

My surgery is scheduled for Monday January 23rd and I hear you I am so nervous and do not know what to expect..I have been having the same feeling of wondering if I am making the right decision this is a life changer.  My husband has been a huge support.  I see the Dr tomorrow for my pre-op appointment I hope all goes well!
