Well, I made it home last night. Everything went well. Have been so nauseous right from the start, but other than that I feel pretty good. Dry heaves is no fun when your fresh out of surgery though :(
I know exactly how you feel about the dry heaving. The first 4-5 days I was very sensitive to smells and would instantly feel nauseated, but now everything is going down just fine. I haven't had any issues with nausea since being able to eat normal foods again.
Good luck on your surgery! I felt the same way before I did this. I don't think anyone thought I would go through with it, but here I am on the other side! Take it slow and do what your doctor says and you will be fine. I feel better already.
