One year ago today
It has been one year ago today that I had my RYN surgery. It has been a very good year. I have exceeded my weight loss goal and feel great. I have taken my kids to Six Flags and rode roller coasters, I rode a machnical bull in New Olreans and I went on a cruise with my husband. I have so much more energy now than I did before. No more sleep apnea. I still take meds for my blood pressure but that will probably be life long since everyone in my family has it. I am worrying about maintance now and hoping I can keep the weight off. I monitor my weight and make sure I get back on track if I have a bad day. Im not perfect but I am concious of what I am doing. I want to thank everyone for all the support I have gotten. This site has been so helpful.

CONGRATUALTIONS TO YOU!!!!!!! WAY TO GO exceeding your goal. You should be proud of yourself. I cant wait to be able to say i an a year out.. I will have my roux-en-y on February 7th..and cant wait.
Congrats and I can't wait to say that I am 1 yr out as well! I had mines on 12/29/11 and I want to be further out so I can be past this part of the journey! I want to do the same things that you have done, I love amusement parks riding roller coasters and doing fun adventurous things! Come on and bring on the weight loss!
