revision

Has anyone had to have RNY revisied around the 6month mark after the inital surgery?

Why would you need a revision that soon after surgery? I don't think many surgeons would do a revision that early out, nor would most insurance companies pay for it.

RNY on 08/16/11

Because I have had an ulcer that has not gotten better since month 1, and I have not had any intake besides liquids since july 11. This is what my surgeon is saying, he calls it a revision but from what I gather it is taking the portion of the intestine out that has the ulcer and re reouting it to the pouch.
