6 month diet

Hi everyone. I found out that I have to redo the 6 month diet d/t lack of documentation. This is no problem as my husband is worried about the surgery and I already offered to do this anyway. My concern is if I lose weight, will I not be able to do the surgery?

Why wouldn't you be able to do the surgery?  If the six month diet is a requirement in order to get approval for the surgery, I wouldn't think it would be a problem.

Most insurances go with your starting weight.

OK. I guess I was thinking that if I do lose weight, they will say "well you lost weight this time, why do you need the surgery? just keep doing this diet and the weight will come off" of something like that.
