I have had problems with constipation and terrible IBS pain.  Then I have to take my pain medicine or I throw up.
Some days I spend half the day in bed with nausea. I cannot move at all or I will get sick.  I have to take zofran and then lie there.

Has anyone had these experiences? What has helped? When does it go away?

I have had some good days.  And I am looking forward to more good days.  Could really use some advice.

Thank you.

Saying good bye to the fat, uncomfortable life I am living and hello to a thinner, more active second half of life!!!!

You haven't provided much information, but for starters, if you haven't called your doctor, please do.

Next:
How far out are you?
How long has this been going on?
Can you drink at all?
Can you eat at all?
Does the nausea and or pain start after eating or drinking?
Have you had a BM since surgery?
Can you pass gas?
How long has it been since you have and have not done either?
With IBS, are you on an antibiotic?
Is this the way you typically respond with the IBS?

I wish I could guarantee that I'd have time to follow up after I post this reply, but I think providing this information will help others help you with some answers.

I hope you feel better soon!

Kat
