Are you getting enough protein?  What's your vitamin D level?

that isnt nearly enough vitamin D.  No labs until 4 months out?  Wow, I had lots of labs by then. I even had a full set preop to get a baseline and then at 5 weeks, 3 months and then every 3months.

75% of the popululation is vitamin D deficient and those morbidly obese are even at higher For those of us post op, we need to take high dose of Dry D3 but it depends on your level of D - you need to take a minimum of 10,000 per day and most need to take up to  20,000 units per day or 50,000 units 2 -3 times per week.  You get the dry D3 from vitalady.com from the company BioTech technology. - it either 5,000 units called D3=5 or 50,000 units called d3-50.  the stuff works really well, the prescription stuff doesnt work for us -it is D2 in oil
