I remember my first steak oh was it good and I actually had some last night and will be having some leftovers tonight.

I love steak!!! I started out with tenderloin steak....so much more tender for my new pouch. I still prefer the tenderloin even after six months....before surgery I liked sirloin the best. I usually choose tenderloin steak or flank steak. Sirloin is too tough and ribeyes are too fatty.

I didn't know until after WLS that one can chew steak, chicken or any other meat down to nothing. If I get a tough piece of meat, I spit it in a napkin and don't waste time on it.

I've had the Victoria's filet at Outback, and it was amazing and so tender that I had no problems with it at all. Best meal I've had since surgery, hands down. Make that mealS, because I had the leftovers for two more meals.
