Help please

Hi!  I'm pretty new here...  Anyway, I had surgery 4/24 (today makes 3 weeks post-op).  My surgery went fine.  No nausea or vomiting, and so far I've been able to keep everything down.  I have been walking a lot, etc.  I was pretty happy considering I just had major surgery without any complications...  UNTIL about a week ago, I started to feel a sharp, tingling type of pain on my lower left abdomen.  It only ever hurts if I get out of bed, bend, and cough or laugh, or sit up in bed.  It doesn't bother me if I'm standing or walking.  I have seen my surgeon and they think I may have pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve.  I was just wondering if anybody else experienced something similar and if anyone has any advice for me.  Thank you :)

Is the pain anywhere near a lap entry point?  May have irritated something there.  Sounds like it occurs when you are bending/using ab muscles so your thought of muscle pull is probably on target - just a guess.
How u feel better soon - remember no NSAIDS.

I had the exact same thing it took several weeks to heal but now it is fine.

I had to hold my side for 4 SOLID weeks , if it doesn't go away in a few weeks get back with your doc. Mine went away OVERNIGHT don't know why

Thank you everyone for your answers.  I guess I'll hang in there for a few and if it doesn't get better soon, I'll be paying the Doc a visit.
