Need help-going to Europe this summer with my son

So we will be gone for 10 days.  While I'm so excited to be seeing Europe with my son, I wonder how on earth I will ever be able to get all my protein in and keep up with a bunch of teenagers. I have trouble getting in all of my protein on a good day at home, and without a shake I don't know how I'l do it.  I'm planning on taking some protein bars with me in my suitcase so I know I"ll be getting at least that protein in.  Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks!

Where are you going? My husband and I chaperoned a couple of Europe trips post op. I took some non melty bars and nuts but we were usually able to get seafood or other types of protein. We also walked so much I age gelato every day in Italy and lost weight. Have fun!!!

Thanks for the suggestions!  I forgot about taking nuts.   We're going to London, Paris, Germany and Switzerland.

Beef Jerky works too! Sounds like a fabulous time! Keep drinking water!!

edited to add: I always keep some of the almond nut crunch bars on hand when traveling. They don't melt and aren't too horrible for us

I often travel for work and when I go, I take, in my suitcase, protein powder and my magic bullet.  This way I can make my own shakes.  You can purchase a 220 attachment in a travel section at a store and most hotels will provide a converter.  If you don't want to bring magic bullet, you can always just mix the protein powder with water or milk in a shaker cup.  I have also brought already made drinks with me (EAS carb control), the thing to keep in mind is it will add weight to your luggage but then again, you are going during a warmer time so, you may be able to take a few 4 packs.  Hope that gives you more ideas. Enjoy Europe!  I lived in Germany for two years and Italy for 5!  It was fabulous!!!

I use the ultramet low-carb protein shakes (35 gr protein). They come in individual packets and mix very easily with a tupperware shaker cup. I take them wherever I go. I also like the quest bars because they aren't coated in chocolate that melts easy.

Wow!  That's a lot of countries in 10 days - I doubt your feet will touch the ground ...

I think you will be surprised by the food choices in Europe - I've never had any problems finding good protein sources - although it will cost you more there than here ...

You will be able to find protein powder there in the health food stores or you could pack some samples packs in your check in bag - no problem.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!  I hadn't even considered taking individually wrapped protein packs, but that's such a great idea! I could get 1/2 my protein in before our day even starts!  We are visiting quite a few places in only 10 days, so I'm not worried at all about getting enough exercise in.

I just got back from vacation. I took unflavored protein powder in a 1lb package from GNC.  I add that to water and crystal light and sipped on it. It helped me get enough water and protein in every day.  I also took a can of Blue Diamond Almonds and some protein bars in my carry on. I put the protein powder in its original pouch unopened in my checked bag so I wouldn't have problems with TSA.  I didn't need a blender as water bottles were all  I needed.  I prefer the taste of Jay Robb's unflavored powder but couldn't find it in a small size to pack in my suitcase and didn't want problems with TSA with a ziploc baggie of white powder if you catch my drift. Have fun on your trip.  You will probably lose a ton of weight from all the sightseeing you are going to do.
