Would not go down this morning. It felt like trying to swallow saw dust. I usually just have a protein shake for breakfast but wanted to try something different. What's the deal?

Eggs sometimes give people trouble..if you can get liquids down I would think you are okay and just try to eat again later on. Most of the issues I had with things going down early on were due to me not chewing enough.

I'm almost 4 years out and can't eat eggs.  Before WLS, I liked eggs, especially omelets.  The crazy thing is I have an Egg Salad I make that I really like.  Turkey is another food I don't care for.

It's odd how your tastes change after surgery.

How did you prepare your egg?  I know turkey sausage -- shoot, sausage of any kind, can be a little dry.

I had a really hard time with scrambled eggs - even when I added quite a bit of milk to keep them "wet".  Just didn't settle well.  I made a poached egg about a week later and that went down much better.

Over easy. I think I'll just stick with the protein shake in the mornings.
