Funny "compliment"?

People's reaction to weight loss is very interesting at times but this takes the cake.  A co-worker I had not seen in a while and honestly don't know too well told me I looked great and asked me if I was newly single, had I divorced my husband???  Really?!?!?  Um thanks?

Wow...just because you lost weight doesn't mean some of that weight was your husband.

You will get may awkward comments. My first one was from my younger brother. He said that I will be a hit with the ladies. Both of my brothers are divorced and I have been married for over 27 years, so I just chalk it up to awkward.

that's funny...people are weird, although every time my oldest daughter was single she has lost weight !!

This week I had a co-worker stop in my office and ask me if I was sick?  I said, "Um no, why?" and he said, "Oh, well I  noticed you're shrinking so I just wondered if you were sick."  I actually laughed out loud!  I said, "No, I'm not sick just losing weight."
