Holy shapewear, Batman!!
So, with hubby coming home for a visit at the end of the month, I have a very sexy date night planned that requires me in a slinky little black dress. Said slinky little black dress requires some bodyshaping, because my tummy pooch is still too big to conceal with just some support underoos.
So I went on the prowl to find good shapewear, and I stumlbed across a company called Leonisa. They specialize in shapewear for extra firm support, size reduction, post-surgery, and compression garments. Perfect. So I ordered this under-bust knee-length shaper in XL.

It arrived in two business days, and I excitedly tried it on. Holy CATS. This thing nipped almost 2 inches off my waist. It's comfortable (but TIGHT!) and surprisingly easy to get into. There's a zipper up the front with hook-and-eye closures along the way. So I did up the hooks, laid back on my bed, sucked in, and zipped 'er right up. And my oh my does this thing have structure. I can wear anything over this baby. I have to sit in it a while, to get used to it. It's awfully tight. And yet not uncomfortable. And they are even crotchless, so I can pee. :D Bonus. A girl likes to pee.
The only downfall is that I'm short, so the fact that it's thigh-length means, on me, it's actually knee length. And it shows under my shorter dresses. So, problem solved, I went and bought another one right away, in the panty-brief style. These things are rockin. Well worth the money. I can wear the thigh (knee) length one under pants, jeans, and even my gym wear. The panty-style will be for shorts and dresses.

On a lighter note, don't get mad at me, but as I was reading your description I had this hilarious vision in my head of your husband unzipping it and like opening an overfull closet door, everything falls out everywhere.

LMAO! Yeah, this is definitely a situation that will merit the classic line, "Let me go slip into something more comfortable" while he chills on the couch with a glass of wine. No just-inside-the-front-door passionate strip-down, I'm afraid. We'll svae that for when I'm in jeans and not this crazy body-corset.
