IBS a year after RNY

Hello everyone! I've not been around for awhile. I have graduated with my masters degree, finished all of my coursework, my divorce was final 5/31/12 (found out he was cheating 5 months after my surgery), my daughter is now a teenager (ugh.), and I am adjusting to how life will be now that I am just working a full time job. What a relief! I have lost a total of 141 pounds. I missed my milestones because I was just too dang busy...which is usual for me  LOL

Now to the IBS question: I had it before surgery, but once I had surgery it almost immediately stopped. Within the last week, it has seemed to have reared its ugly head again. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this? Also, are there any supplements we can tolerate - some sort of Fibercon or something in a gel cap?

Thanks everyone! I've missed y'all!

I have terrible IBS now and my gastro is worried that it may get worse after surgery. (haven't had surgery yet). So he gave me a new med called Digex to take with my meals. It helps really well, controls my IBS like Never before. Maybe you can ask your gastro or pcp about it.

My PCP gave me something before surgery to take and it seemed to help some. I think I am not eating like I did right after surgery, so that is probably the biggest problem honestly. If it continues, I see her soon and will ask for it again.
