I hope this works. The first picture was me on Sunday before going to a graduation party. The second picture was before my surgery on 8/29/12. I was 221 and today I am 138 and 11 months out! I can't believe I have lost 83 lbs and have my life back! I am posting these because I can't believe this is me. I can't wrap my head around it! This surgery has been a life saver and has given me my good health back. It seems like I started this journey yesterday! To all of you waiting to start your journey, make the choice that is best for you and if RNY is your choice, find a good doctor and hospital. It is very hard in the beginning, but in time life just gets better and better. It seems to take forever, but before you know it, you are melting away and feeling better than ever.

One door closes and another opens. I am excited to go through the new door that has opened and ecstatic the old one is closing!
