Tell me I'm not done
I had surgery 5 months ago...everything has been amazing. I lost almost 40 pounds the first month and have been averaging 20 pounds a month since then...up until August 19......I hit a brick wall!! I haven't dropped a pound in ten days!! I have had a few episodes where I wouldn't lose weight for 4-5 days but never more than that. I am trying to be patient..I am trying to believe it's just the dreaded stall that people talk about...but I am starting to really worry that it's over. I haven't changed anything in quite a while...I still eat right around 800 calories...I still get at least 60 grams of protein. I am active..I go to curves 3 times a week, I ride horses ect...I started at 325 and am now at 214...I want to lose 45 more pounds. Please tell me that this has happened to you and the weight loss started back up again...If not...tell me that too. Could I really be done at 5 months???
11 pounds in 5 months is great. So don't sweat not losing in 10 days. You're body is adjusting. If you're exercising, you'll likely note a change in clothing size without lose pounds recently. Part of the process. It took me 6 months to lose 100 pounds after my surgery. DAVE

PS..I've tried to stay off the scale..I even had my husband take it to work after surgery...but I am a scale addict. I weigh every morning..and most times I don't worry if I don't lose for several days.
But like the rest have said - you are fine- Keep it up and the scale will eventually reflect this. Stop stressing!
