Cleared for regular food!

 I had my appointment with my dietician today, and I've been OK'd to go back to a regular diet. Woo hoo! Of course, it's within reason, be sure I take it slow and take note of things that don't agree, and try in a few weeks. I'm just so glad to be heading back to regular foods. I miss the different textures food has, you know?

It's a great feeling that is for sure. You may or may not know but they say try one new food at a time, because if you try two and it doesn't go down well you won't know which one is effecting your pouch.

So happy for you! I was just approved today to go to soft foods and I know how exciting that is for me, so I can imagine how excited you are...lol

 No, it just needs to be soft, i.e. slightly overcooked veggies and pasta. I was kind of surprised, too, but I guess they want you back on regular food as soon as you can tolerate it. For dinner tonight, I had 3oz. of grilled chicken breast and a few slices of avocado. It. Was. Awesome. LOL

I covet your chicken breast and avocado!!! I have 1 more week of protein shakes and am really starting to want to eat something instead of drink it!
