QUESTION ON EXERCISE ??????
I am just now 5 months out and have been going to the gym pretty regularly. I go 3 to 4 times a week and do about am hour of cardio followed by strength training. And I just signed up for a 5k so I'm using the couch to 5 k app, on the other two days,I'm not in the gym, leaving my weekends off. My question is, I'm feeling very week after workouts and nauseous the rest of the day! I think maybe I'm not able to bet enough food in for fuel. I will have a bowl of oatmeal and fruit before my workout and a protein shake after IF I can choke it down. I also feel that my weightloss has slowed down with the increased exercise! I have lost 105 lbs so far and that does include my 2 week liquid pre op diet
But I still have 80 to go! So I'm just confused about what to do? I hate to back off on the exercise as I am so determined not just to loose the weight but to be fit as well!!

Are you getting enough fluids in while you're working out? I just had a bout of dehydration the other day--not fun!

I would have the protein before the work out. Have water while you work out.

sounds like Hydration.
to figure this out Weigh before your run and then after your run and see what the weight difference is. You can then lookup online and see what you need to take in to recover the loss.
Recovering excessive Sweat loss is in addition to your normal fluid intake. It isn't always easy and sometimes it can take me 2-3 days to recover this. I do some long cardio sessions where I will take in 120oz and still loose 4 pounds.
