Hair Loss
RNY on 08/27/12
I hear some people do and some do not. I am only 3 weeks out so I will have to wait to see if I do. I know it grows back in a few months when we are able to get the proper amounts of the nutrients we need. Good luck.
I too lost a ton of hair... luckily it was thick to start but I was starting to get worried there towards the end... It lasted about 8 weeks and then slowed down and now (almost a year out) it's back to normal.... My doctor stated it plays "catch up" from the shock of surgery and just the overall shock to the body..... Don't worry to much just keep doing what you are doing and it will stop and get back to normal... :)
Yup, it's totally normal. Some lose more than others. Keep taking your vitamins and your protien. Eventually it'll stop and will grow back in. I lost a lot and just wore a wig, but it's coming back now. Don't worry to much about it. It's just a. Few months.
