Ladies... TMI period question

My period last time was 12 days late. it then lasted for 12 days. no cramps just bleeding. seeing as it was the first one since surgery, i understand it was messed up. last week i had what i felt.was a cyst popping on my right side. the pain was intense and i spotted a bit. now17 days too early, i have started bleeding heavily with mega painful cramps, mostly on that right side. How were your periods afterwards? this is the worst one probably in the past 2 years. i hope its.not.another big cyst pop. sorry about the punctuation and caapitalization. my phone sucks for posting things.

My first one lasted about 10 days and was very heavy. I cruelly went to the ER cause it wouldn't stop and I was changing every half hour. But I didn't now what was normal or not cause I wasn't regular at all before. I didn't get one sometimes for years.
