surgery tomorrow & a questions.

Well I have to check in for surgery @6:30 am tomorrow (10/12/12) excited & anxious. Did anyone else have to drink magnesium citrate for cleansing the day before surgery? Anyways. I weighed yesterday I am down another 8lbs4oz, which totals out to 20lbs in 2wks and a grand total of 42lbs since I began this journey. Yah.....

We do not have to drink that prior to the surgery.  The saying with my doc is liquid in, liquid out.  Did you do a two week liquid diet?

I am on day 2 of my liquid and smelling everyone elses lunch is making me crazy LOL   My surgery is in two weeks. YAY!!

Oh yeah... I'm doing the mag-citrate. Refrigerate it for extra "tastiness." 

I had to for two days before surgery and two days after but I was only able to get in one day after.  Not a lot of dr. I guess order them.  I actually had to get it from the pharmacy at the hospital also. 

Congrats on the 42 pounds as that will help the surgery go smoother.  To bad your surgery wasn't today with the date of 10/11/12 that would be a cool date.

I had to drink it.  Had to take it the day before surgery, my Dr. said I didnt have to do the "liquid" diet before surgery, just had to do the cleansing.  It was the longest day of my life!  I hope you do ok with it.  The worst part is usually over pretty fast...just get it all down and then relax and let it work.  My surgery is scheduled for the 26th...I have to have that the day before. :(

I also had to drink it! 2 bottles I thought it was nasty! But I figured I'd probably drank worse tasting stuff back in my college day drink it cold! I put mine on ice and chugged with a straw. Good luck on your recovery!
