HEADACHES!!!
Hello WLS family, I am 4 days post op and the past two days have been suffereing from horrible headaches i've been getting them at about 4-5AM n dont have them the rest of the day. They are awful almost like migranes they seem to lingere after i take the medicine n just sit behind what feels to be eyes n forehead just applying pressure. I dont suffer from migranes n had stopped drinking caffeine pre op...dont know what could be causing this n am afraid it might be the pain medicine do you guys have any suggestions or similar inccidents?
I get that some days. In my case - it is either after I get low blood sugar (the sugar stabilizes but I will get headache after) or when I have bathroom issue. Most my morning headaches goes away after I have BM in the morning.

1. If you are a caffeine drinker, abrupt withdrawal from caffeine can cause the headache.
2. Dehydration can cause headaches.
3. Not enough protein will cause a headache.
I made myself drink 6 oz of unsweetened tea, then get down a protein shake. The headache went away and hasn't been back.
