Japanese Food
So I'm craving some teriyaki chicken (no rice of course) but I know teriyaki sauce has sugar in it. Is this okay or does it have a lot of sugar in it? I can't seem to find any japanese nut facts online to even compare. The Japanese place I go to just cooks it in it so it's not really left with a lot but I wanted to ask you guys first so I wouldn't dump if there was too much. Yup, I'm a dumper.
I dump and wouldn't touch it with a bargepole at a restaurant ... and if you know you dump, I'm not sure why you are even considering it - nothing worse than dumping in public!
I'm sure you could find a recipe and adapt it though if you are so inclined - I've pretty much lost my taste for sweet sauces for meat because of the dumping issue.

I haven't tried teriyaki yet and I dump too but wonder if you can ask them to just leave it out when they prepare your dish. If it's tepanyaki (sp?) style, maybe they can just spray your food with oil and no other sauces?
