Before & After Picture Complaint

I submitted my before & after photos to be posted by OH. I've worked hard to lose 106 pounds. I am very disappointed that they changed the picture so much that, to me, it does not reflect my weight loss but makes me look shorter and chubbier. Is it just me or can any of you tell the difference between the two?

This is the picture as I submitted it:

Here is the picture as OH posted it:

Do you think I'm being too picky?

TECHNOLOGY!  Ay yi yi.  Sometimes it doesn't do what we want. I think they need certain dimensions.  Maybe you can crop your pic to the dimensions similar to the warped photo?

Well, crazy resizing aside, you look great!

Yes, there is a definite difference. I would be upset, too (and don't think you are being picky). I would ask them if there is a certain size they need and then crop and re-size the picture yourself and resubmit it.

All of their before and after pictures look distorted. I don't even like to look at them because the quality is so bad. Your pic so is much better than it looks, Thanks for sharing your original with us. I enjoyed seeing it.

I was looking at before and afters after I submitted mine and saw a lot of them were distorted like that. It really should be fixed or taken down. Did you send them an email? The email address is [email protected] .

I don't understand why they do that. Your picture is so much nicer. They mess them up when they distort it that way. I usually skip over the bad pics which sucks cause their probably nice pictures.

I agree that it's a problem with your dimensions. Your avi is doing the same thing. I know that one needs to be square.

I have lost over half my body weight and kept it off for over 7 years but have never submitted a before and after to OH, the reason the horrible quality of the pics and the dreadful skewing.  As a photographer I understand proportion and I hate when he aspect ratios are manipulated, it annoys the crap out of me and it fools no one.

I would make them take that pic down.
