I have 4 suggestions, rather, necessities for weight loss

Get enough Protein

Get more than enough water

Take all your vitamins regularly

.....and most important as far as my weight loss has been.....

EXERCISE Daily!

I am a little over 7 months out and I am losing faster now than I did early out. I ride my stationary bike daily for 2-4 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. I have really revved up my metabolism by doing this. I see the scale move daily, even if it is only a few ounces but it moves downward daily. It has also helped with my constipation, the bowels almost feel normal now, with a little help from colace. This week alone I have lost 3 pounds. I have never had a stall but I have had what I felt was a slow weight loss. But the addition of regular exercise has really had an impact. Good luck on your upcoming wedding. Keep plugging along and you will get there. Remember this is a lifetime journey, not a sprint.

You're just a month out of surgery, how much have you lost? Average weight loss is 3-5 lbs a week.

Follow the program the weight will come off.

Thanks Julie. I take a protein shot to make sure I get enuff protein. I know I don't get the fluids I'm suppose to, but I do take my vitamins regularly. I just have to up my exercise routine now that it to cold to go for walks with my baby n 5 yr old. I will look on craigslist for excercise machines.

Most of those protein shots have collagen protein which is a protein we don't want. Make sure it's whey protein or you may not be getting enough protein in even with the shot. Kelly has a great article about it at http://voices.yahoo.com/liquid-protein-supplements-after-gastric-bypass-surgery-4796752.html

Use a food tracker and make sure you are getting in enough protein and water.

What are you eating on a daily basis? How much have you lost thus far and what is the total amount of weight that you need to lose? All those are factors in addition to what previous posters have stayed.

I am right there with you....my surgery 10/26 and its almost 2 weeks since I have had a loss.

We can't get discouraged! If we are doing the right things, we will lose when our body is ready.

Hang in there.

you have to give it time. I had the same frame of mind what I first had my surgery. I thought I would wake up after a few weeks and be 50 lbs thinner. It just hasn't been working that way. Have been exercising a lot more sticking to my plan, and drinking a ton of water and fluids. Now I am averaging a pound a day. I am 17 weeks out now and I'm finally feeling well progress. More than that I feel wonderful. It's about your healtg and the rest of your life. I know you want to look spectacular on your wedding day but you also want to feel spectacular. A liquid diet will that be your energy. You don't want to have to stress about being sick on your honeymoon.
