GNC GRRR

I'm so angry at the skinny boy at GNC.   I asked him to show me where the protein powers are and of course he shows me the featured "weight loss" goop.   I tell him no I need whey isolate.   He showed me something in a big blue tub and asked vanilla or chocolate.  "I'll get it out for you."  he says   It was right below the Isopure, I thought for a second that maybe I'll just get what I know but this other stuff was such a bargain,     I told him vanilla and he takes blue tub to the counter and puts it right into a bag.

As skinny boy is ringing up my protein I noticed sticking out of the top was a totally cracked lid.   I wouldn't even be able to close the tub.  When I told him it was cracked skinny boy said "oh I noticed that, but the protective seal is not broken".   I tell him I want a new lid.

I left really angry because he was trying to pull a fast one on me.   As if the middle aged, fat woman doesn't matter.

Now, I go to use it and it isn't even whey isolate...   it's WHEAT isolate.    I didn't even notice until I added milk and it smelled like pancake batter.     Now I have to go out when I wasn't planning to and beat the skinny boy in the head with the blue tub with the new lid!

I am sorry this happened to you but I thank you for making me laugh out loud this morning!  

There are so many different brands and flavors to settle for GNC's brand. Personally I like the Syntrax Nectars. I believe that it is vitalady.com that has a sample pack so that you can try the flavors without a lot of trips and expense.

Rolf! Sorry, but I love how you told what happened. Absolutely hilarious! I'd beat him too!

Take it back, get the Lean Shake 25, if you are doing powder.

I use Body fortress from Walmart. Its the most inexpensive I have found at abt 13.00 a tub and Its not bad. I use both vanilla and chocolate but dont care for the cookies n cream. I drink the chocolate one everyday mixed with some decaf instant coffee. love it.

That sucks. Made me go double-check the new protein I bought last night at gnc.

Lol, I have learned if you ask for help at the store, that is great but dont let them make you feel like you have to buy what they say without looking at it first.

Thank you for the laugh!!!  Does anyone know what the least expensive unflavored one might be?  I am also using the Body Fortress one and adding whatever flavor I want.  I am still pre-surg but am drinking one shake a day as I am not getting enough protein and want to be in good shape nutritionally when I do go in.
