Had RNY on June 5, 2012.  Had some hernias repaired at the same time.  Everything was going great until This past Friday night.  I woke with my abdomen being sore to the touch or movement. The most sore area is directly under the sternum to my belly button. I went to ER on Sunday morning.  They said all blood work was perfect. Checked liver and pancreas function they were also perfect.  Said no gallstones.  Did two x-rays and said nothing was abnormal.  So, why am I hurting so darn much?  I get a little relief when laying flat, but I am still sore to the touch, Not nauseous and don't have diaharrea.  It doesn't get worse with eating or drinking.  It is a constant pain and tenderness.  If I sneeze-it brings tears to my eyes.

Any ideas you have would be greatly  appreciated!

It may be adhesions.  They don't show up on any x-rays, scans, etc...  The only way to get relief is to have them removed.  I have had several.  They feel like your insides are being torn if you move a certain way.
