I ordered a veggie omelet yesterday made with egg beaters.  I noticed I was able to eat wayyy more of that than regular eggs.

Anyone else notice the difference?

Yes!   I eat Egg Beaters several times a week.  Real eggs my tummy does not appreciate at all.

my best guess is because its the yolk that has the fat and the cholesterol, and fat = satiety.

I love egg beaters. They def agree better with my tummy. I do notice I can eat a bit more with them- but maybe it's because they go down much easier?

Yea I was thinking that because they didn't have the fat a regular egg has that it went down easier.  It was nice to feel like I ate more than 4 bites..lol

I prefer real eggs.  I can handle them fine.  Egg beaters are full of chemicals so i avoid them.

I eat eggs or egg whites.   Usually mix of those 2.  Goes in much better.

As another poster said- egg beaters - they do have some chemicals...

I prefer real eggs for things like omelets and scrambles because I find the egg beaters have an odd "fake" taste that I don't enjoy. I do use egg beaters in cooking, however, because it's  an easy way to reduce the fat and cholesterol.
