Is Panera's Broccoli Cheddar Soup a No No five days post op?
I suppose if you strain it. I'm not sure about the nutritional stats of their soup, I'd be worried about it not settling with me so early out. I wouldn't think it has any protein in it, at this early out if I was unable to eat at home I'd take a ready to drink protein shake with me or detour by a walmart/target/cvs/grocery store and pick one up instead of a panera bread.

Boy, I just don't know about it. Wait until Monday to call and then in the meantime eat the strained soup you know you can have. Many people will say it's ok, but that's a tricky one! Now, remember everyone has a different plan and some will say yes, no, gee, hmmmmmm.........We weren't't allowed tomato soup even because of the acid. Let us know what you find out. Jane
I don't know if it's a taste thing or because I know this would make me feel. It looks really rich, which is one of the things that still makes me feel sick. I'm sure there are plenty of people who are quite happy eating it - but I wouldn't even at 8.5 years out!!!
Of course it has a high fat, sodium and carb content (cheese sauce) and it's just not enough bang for the buck for me ...

Depends on your plan. I was on full liquids, so I guess I could have had it if I strained it. I wonder how much fat is in it, though?
