Canned bean sprouts!

I couldn't stand the shiratake noodles and spaghetti squash just didn't do it for me. Bean sprouts aren't perfect, but they're fast and hard to screw up.

I find them in the international aisle with the Chinese food.

French cut green beans are also great substitute for spaghetti.  I have done that and it's really good and a good way to get some veggies in as well as protein (ground beef, chicken, turkey, etc).

Eggface has a recipe on zucchini where she turns them into noodles.  I haven't tried that one yet.

That sounds really good! I will try that....My mom bought some lean cuisines last week and the sphagetti looked so good...read on the label..over 41 carbohydrates and while the serving size is more than enough....I gasped at the thoughts of what I used to eat....I put it right back in the freezer.   :)

I really don't miss pasta at all, but this is a good idea.   I also have a recipe that uses thin sliced zuchini as lasagna noodles.   I might try that one of these days.
