Feels like there is something stuck in my throat!

Hi All,

For the past 4 days it has felt like something is stuck in my throat.  Down kind of where your collar bones come together.  Have any of you experienced this?  It feels like I need to do a hard swallow and it will clear, but it never does.  If it doesn't get better by tomorrow, I'll make an appt to see the doc, but thought I would reach out here to see if any of you have had a similar situation.

I'm 9 months post op.

I got a pill stuck once and it scratched my throat so it made it fell like there was something stuck, when in fact, there wasn't. My throat was just scratched. Once it healed it felt fine. But I'd still call just to make sure it isn't anything more serious.

If your not on a PPI like prilosec, that may be the problem.  I had that stuck feeling back when I would miss a dose or two of my stomach acid meds.  I cant see what surgery you had.  I havent had any problems with acid since my RNY.
