Ok to be hungry

I know this sounds simplistic, but I was in Phoenix this weekend visitingI laws and had less control over food choices.  Suddenly I realized that I could abstain from eating until I was able to find what I needed to eat.  This meant that I needed to let myself be hungry for a while and it wasn't the end of the world.  New learning for me!

Someone once told me "hunger is not an emergency" and that was such a revelation for me!  I get it.
