Hi,
I am five days post surgery and I have this feeling of constantly being full and bloated..it makes it difficult to consume as much food/liquids as I am supposed too. I am having bowel movements and have been steadily releasing gas from the surgery. Has anyone else experienced this and have any guesses when it will go away?? Help please! Thanks!

You need to walk, walk, walk. It helps get the gas out of your system and gets rid of that bloated feeling. Also, take small sips of your water. I had the same problem at first too. But taking smaller sips helped me get my liquids in.

You have major swelling going on right now....as the swelling decreases you'll find it easier to consume more.  Just keep walking and sipping, it does take some time and patience early out.
