Breathing treatment
I can only tell of my experience. I'm 5 months out from surgery and I have to take breathing treatments twice a day--but I do so because I COPD. My albuterol is well tolerated. You should check with your doctor however. I can't see where it would be harmful but check just for your own peace of mind.
I would ask your doc, but my hospital sent me home with a breather aperatus thingie (technical term). I had to use it at least 10 times each hour - it really helps prevent pneumonia by helping you to get rid of all the secretions that happen as a result of surgery.
