I only had my surgery on Monday so I am no vet but I can tell you walk! It helps w/ the gas so much

Good luck - make sure you bring chapstick to the hosptial as dry lips can be an issue and get up and walk as soon as possible and start sipping tha****er when allowed.

My surgery was a year ago on this date, best decision I ever made.
