SF/fat free pudding

It's no where on any list of mine. Is this okay?

My doc allows it during the pureed stage as long as it is S/F...hope that helps!

It was for me! I ate it early on out and loved it. You could even add some protein powder to it to get more protein in.

The liquid has been a struggle for me. I'm four days post op. went out today for the first time. Found some sf/fat free cheesecake pudding and bought it and a few other things for my next stage. I'm going to email my bariatric nurse/contact and ask

I ate it and made it with regular skim milk...got VERY sick.  Didn't realize until that moment that I can no longer handle regular milk.  I now use lactose free skim and its fine.  Being so newly post-op, I'd recommend making it with lactose free milk.  Throwing up so soon after surgery is quite painful...at least it was for me.

I made it with 1% had 2tbsp no reaction so far. How long until you got sick?

It was almost immediately...within 5 minutes.  If you're fine now, you should probably stay fine. :)

I had surgery Thursday - today I had my first SF Pudding (SF Snack Size)  and I added a scoop of unflavored protein to it.  Once I mixed the protein in really well it became much more of a liquid consistency - I had it room temp not cold - but I was able to tolerate it well and also went to the bathroom for the first time after I ate it.  I'm 2 days out but SF Pudding is on my list of full liquids
