Sips? I'm so confused

I try not to wait too long if I do I don't get it in. It's so hard.

There is no magic time limit.  Your body will tell you.  People are different.  Some have no trouble others can hardly drink.  I did not have much trouble.  I did find warm liquids were better than cold at first.  Now it doesn't matter, but the first month or so I liked room temp water better than ice cold.
