Well tomorrow morning I get the pleasure of getting a gallbladder ultrasound and the 28th a hida scan. I've been experiencing pain on my right side that will radiate to my back and constant back pain while walking, sitting, or standing for more than 10 minutes, especially after eating. It isnt a constant with the right side pain, but it is uncomfortable and annoying. Ugh in a way i hope its my gallbladder so I feel validated for my pain, but on the other hand I don't want another surgery as I just built my pto back up and finished paying off my RNY. Does anyone else habe any similar experiences? I don't want to feel silly if they don't find anything wrong with me!

Thanks, Bri

With those symptoms and your recent weight loss, it is unlikely that they WON'T find gallstones.  Gallbladder removal is one of the easiest surgeries to recover from, though, and I have known people to go back to work just a couple of days later.
