So, I'm 5 weeks post-op. Every time I eat something more solid than milk or pudding I get a pain in my tummy. It feels like a lump or squeezing feeling.  I've not had any vomiting so far and can pretty much drink anything.  I had a scan on tuesday and the Dr. didn't call me about anything being wrong.

Anybody else have pain while eating around this time? Just wondering if the pressure I feel is normal.

I don't recall having pain after eating at all after my surgery.  I think maybe a call to your surgeon's office is in order.

Do check with your surgeon. I had that feeling whenever I drank thin liquids, but food was fine. I described it as a cramp. In fact, at nearly a year out I still get it with water. My surgeon said not to worry about it, just try different fluids.

Since your surgery is so recent, it'll probably quiet down soon.
