liquid diet

For those of you who did a liquid diet for 2 weeks, What did you consume?

Ensure High Protein, EAS AdvantEdge, Power Protein from Costco.  Those have the highest protein per calorie that I could find.  The Ensure tastes the best, IMHO.  Miso soup when I was craving savory instead of sweet. 

I am just a few days post op and have to do two weeks of liquids. I drink the protein shakes along with cream soups, soup broth, yogurt, jello, pudding (I add a little extra protein powder in those). Not too sure if that is allowed on your liquid diet tho.

Protein shakes(I thought Designer Whey was the best!) Chicken broth(homemade) and water or sugar free jello. Flavored h2o is OK too. That's it!

Thank you both for your response. It is appreciated and helps. Neither of you happen to know how long insurance takes to approve after submitting do us? I asked it had over 180 views and not one person offered any info. I did hear any medical cal or medical acid questions people kinda stick there noses at....whatever people are ignorant to believe every person with these kinds of insurance is someone who is milking it. We are a working class family just qualify because our size. Sorry to go on and on. Lol. But anyhow thanks again I am looking forward to beginning my journey. Best wishes to you both. The reason you got 180 views and no replies is NOT because people think you are one of the so called "entitled" but because the title of your post was "Insurance Approval"  and not "Medicare or Medicaid".   Your posts would have been opened and then people (like me) would have realised they couldn't answer your question.

I am English and think we should all have single payer health insurance so no shade from me - you should maybe get the chip off your shoulder though - I have NEVER (in 9 years) seen anyone castigated for being on Government Healthcare!!!!   

And 6 kids?  You deserve a medal!!!!

Thank you for your response. I appreciate someone not thinking bad of everyone with staet insurance. However you are wrong about the chip. I actually never thought about it until someone private messaged me on here about negative responses for it so that being said it obviously upset me. I think the chip comes from the other end. However I honest to goodness could sypmpathize with someone who has  to pay a ton of money for insurance and fight and fight to no avail and yet someone with state insurance has an easier go at it. That would frustrate me or give me a chip too. I know, I remeber the days when we paid over 400 bucks a month for insurance! after that we where so broke we couldnt take the kids to the doc and afford co pays! I thank God everyday that we ended up getting medi cal. I am grateful and  still hard working :)   Thanks again. I think the chip is on the shoulder of the person who PMd you! Honestly, I don't remember seeing anything negative and I've been here years!!!
