I have lots of problems with my bowels moving. I tried taking Colace stool softener but they are to big and hurt.

Does ANYONE have ideas for something smaller or easier to take

Have you tried some fiber tabs?  There are some sugar free ones that I have taken - they are chewable.  Those, along with the stool softeners helps a lot.  i don't know how far out you are, but I had a lot of difficulty throughout the first year.  I had my gall bladder removed at 13 months and I've had NO issues with constipation since - in fact, the opposite.

good luck - get some chewable fiber tabs - they help!

Miralax, it is a powder that you can mix with water or whatever you are drinking.  No taste, works great.

all of the above and then a suppository of ducolax.

Once I mixed the colace capsule contents  with some tuna in water, it made it taste like tuna in oil....gross but edible.. with a quick squeeze of lemon after.....

Rather than a stool softener or laxative, I would suggest a fiber supplement like Benefiber (Walmart and Kroger both have generic versions since some people report having trouble finding the Benefiber in stores (but they still have it in Walmart here)).  The fiber is healthier and easier on the digestive system than softeners or laxatives.  Fiber keeps the problem from occurring in the first place rather than solving the problem AFTER it happens.
