I still can't at 10+ mo out. I've tried a couple of times to have a small sandwich with whole wheat bread or a whole wheat tortilla and I just can't get it in. I was able to get in a 1/4 of a monte cristo, french toast (whole wheat bread), with ham and cheese but that stuffed me. I will say the bread with the egg made it firmer and slide in easier and not sit so heavy but I doubt I'll have another one any time soon.

While I don't plan to be a big bread eater, although I won't cut it out entirely I find I just can't do a sandwich, at least not yet, maybe never. I saw a few people post oopsie bread and carbquick rolls which I may try.

For me it was about 4 months out. Not a whole sandwich though. I still can't really do that. My pouch doesn't like bread.

Bread is very uncomfortable for me to eat. I will use the flat outs & cut them in half & make a sandwich that way. That is my bread substitute.

I am 8 months out and ate a half a sandwich for the first time about two days ago. It was on a slice of Weigh****chers whole wheat bread and it sat just fine and kept me full for a while.

Six months out, maybe?  It depends on what kind of sandwich.  The other day I ate most of a 6-inch veggie sub, but other times half that amount makes me feel too full.

Probably at about 5-6 months.  I can eat 1/2 sandwich only on whole wheat or whole grain.  It has to be toasted.

Surgery weight:  232 lbs. / Goal: 145 lbs. Height:  5'5"     Fat? Ain't nobody got time for that.

The thinwich buns are okay.  Sometimes I only eat half of it, other times I can eat the entire bun.  We've been packing our dinner  due to afterschool sports.  Yesterday I had a thinwich with chicken breast deli meat, a couple slices of avacado and a little Miracle Whip light.  I generally try to avoid bread or at least only have 1 serving per day.

I am 3 months out and started eating half a sandwich at lunch or breakfast. I use Brownberry whole wheat bread(1 slice cut in half) with 1.5 oz homemade tuna salad. I cut off the crust. Yummy.
