Very interesting article. I appreciate her open-mindedness. I started the read the comments but decided it wasn't worth wasting my time. Anyone else have the same feeling? LOL

Warning - Don't read the comments, it will only cause your middle finger to extend toward your computer monitor.  I'd like to find "Melissa" and give her a piece of my mind.  Ignorant fools! 

I didn't read the comments before I posted this. So sorry.....I have a friend whose wife is 28 years out and doing great and always has. That and the 40++ years of history this surgery has convinced me to do it. There are always negative people out there unfortunately. And yes there are RNYpeople who ignore taking their vitamins and who have other serious health issues before having the surgery that contribute to their health issues in years to come. I could go on and on but we have all heard it before.

No need to apologize Molly, the article was a good read.  All we can do is continue to work at being positive examples of our community. 

Don't apologize! I wasn't blaming you for the comments. I'm still very glad you posted this! I think having the strength to actually say who cares and not continue reading the comments and start second guessing myself actually shows how far I've come in therapy :)

This lady sounds like someone here ...  same turn of phrase that I have never heard from anyone else - interesting, and a good article.

Melissa is just ignorant!

Omg Melissa is an idiot!! Shes "all knowing" it seems. Should have consulted her instead of my surgeon. Really tired of people thinking this is the "easy" way.

Since Melissa apparently knows everything, we should get her to resolve the national debt and clean up foreign policy.
