Waiting for Approval

I had my endoscopy done on the 14th. I was told this was my final step in the process before approval. Wednesday I decided to contact the WLS coordinator and ask her what else needed to be done. She emailed me back and told me that all my documentation had been submitted on the 21st and they were just waiting to hear back from the insurance company! :) I called the insurance to see if I could find out what was going on and they said I should have an answer today. I am so excited and nervous.  I am really glad I just found out that it was submitted, I cant imagine if I found out last Friday, those days of waiting would have drove me nuts!

I hope you hear back soon. I heard back in less than 24 hours, so maybe the news will come as quickly for you. My surgery is coming up on Tuesday! Best Wishes

I have been waiting since May 30th and it is making me crazy ! I have talked to insurance 4 times and am told it is still in the precertification stage. Nothing I can do but wait and work on me during this time.
