infected belly button?

I have been running a ton and now it seems my belly button is infected. Has anyone had this and what did you do?

Ohh i get that all the time. The doctor gave me a cream that I put in my belly button. Depending on how bad the infection is. Sometimes I clean it with peroxide on a q tip. When I run, I warm a form fitted tank under my fitness tank. To help absorb the sweat. You can also use baby powder to help keep it dry.

After running or your shower, dry your bellybutton with a Q-tip. That will help prevent anything in the future.

Clean it with any antibacterial soap like Dial liquid on a Q-tip twice a day, and it will clear up in just a couple of days.  I never had trouble with mine when I was heavy, but after my RNY and my panniculectomy, my belly button has a bit of a hood and it gets infected easily if I don't clean it every time I shower during warm weather.

I had one a few weeks ago, I tried everything I could think of because it was itchy. turned out to be a yeast infection. Dr prescribed me nystatin ointment. Cornstarch helped a bunch also!
