Problems with reheated/microwaved foods?

I'm 5 years out and my tastes continue to change.  Foods reheated in the microwave taste so bad I can't eat them.  I don't care for cold chicken or beef so leftovers are out. 

Eggs are another food I can't eat unless they are disguised in other ingredients. 

 

Anyone else have problems with reheated foods?

I don't, at least not with most foods.  Some foods reheat better than others, I think.  I eat a lot of beans and they are usually sort of saucy (like, I might cook some pinto beans with some peppers and onions and throw some salsa in there) and they reheat well.  They freeze well, too.

I almost never reheat any kind of beef in the microwave because it DOES change the flavor and I don't like it.  (I also don't ever buy frozen meals with beef for the same reason.) 

Why is reheating those items in the oven not an option?  I have never had any trouble reheating beef or chicken in the oven (wrapped in foil if I fear it will dry out if left open).
