CDiff Infection After RNY?

Has anyone contracted a CDiff infection after having RNY?  I was doing so well until Monday when I had to be hospitalized for this infection.  My surgeon said that she's not seen a case of CDiff in a patient that's only received one dose of antibiotics pre-op.  I finally returned home yesterday for the scale to say I gained 6 pounds!  How is that possible? 

Any advise would be great.

Ironically, dehydration caused by c-diff-related diarrhea can cause your body to attempt to grab onto any fluids it can, which can be reflected in the scale. 

Also you are probably retaining some of the IV fluids they gave you as well.

Drink, drink, drink... and the scale numbers will drop away.

I was given some information on CDiff during my pre-op registration so it might be common.
