I went in for my one week post op and was SO psyched that I lost 16 lbs.... Then I went in last week for my 2 wk post op apt (exactly 7 days after the day I weighed in 16 lbs less). Anyway, I was like, "well, I'll be happy with a smaller number, maybe 5 or 7 lbs lost"... I lost 1/2 pound !!! lol it sucked !! I hadn't done anything different, didn't cheat or stray from the plan and all I got was a stinkin 1/2 pound >:(
But, they said that was normal, a lot of people lose big the 1st week & then your body kinda tries to play catch-up. It's all good ;)

Perfectly normal.....that is why if you cannot handle the information....you need to stay away from the scale. This will not be the only time that the scale will not move. If may even be up a lb. or two at certain times and then drop again. It is not a race in a straight line to goal weight. It is a marathon, because after you lose the excess weight, you still need to watch what you eat and weigh yourself.
